At the Beijing Paralympics in September, rider Laurentia Tan wins a bronze medal, Singapore’s first ever Paralympics medal. She will win another bronze in a later event. They are Asia’s first equestrian medals at the Paralympics. At the London Paralympics in 2012, she will win a silver and a bronze.
